Miami Heat legend Alonzo Mourning along with Miami Dade Homeless Trust Chairman Ron Book and volunteers from C1 Bank and the Miami Heat served dinner at Chapman Partnership last Sunday as part of the Miami Heat’s REHEAT program. The Re-HEAT program, donates unserved and left-over food from the arena to feed some of Miami’s most needy populations. Sunday’s dinner was extra special as Zo and Burney, the Heat mascot, helped serve chicken, mac and cheese , veggies and dessert to the residents at Chapman Partnership. Zo took time out to speak with residents and Burney was a huge hit with the kids giving high-fives and posing for selfies.
Chapman Partnership is extremely grateful to have the support of the Miami Heat and C1 Bank in helping us to empower the homeless.
