Chapman Partnership Named Community’s “Most Valuable Nonprofit”

MIAMI, FL – Tuesday, November 13th, 2012 –  Chapman Partnership has been recognized “Most Valuable Nonprofit” in the community by Switchboard Miami, which held its first All-Star Non-Profit Awards Luncheon on Nov. 9 at Jungle Island, Miami.

“This award is a testament to the hard work of our professional staff and dedicated volunteers at Chapman Partnership,” said Trish Bell, chairman.

The award was conceived to honor the nonprofit organization that demonstrates outstanding performance for a positive impact to the community and provides paramount service to clients. 

“Most Valuable Nonprofit” is the highest award given by Switchboard Miami, which works with more than 5,000 nonprofit organizations to connect callers to needed services. 

Chapman Partnership

Chapman Partnership operates two Homeless Assistance Centers with 800 beds located in Miami and Homestead. We help the homeless by providing a comprehensive support program that includes emergency shelter, meals, health, dental and psychiatric care, day care, job training, job placement and assistance with securing stable housing.  At Chapman Partnership we empower homeless men, women and children to build a positive future by providing the resources and assistance critical to growth and independence. Switchboard Miami

Switchboard of Miami, Inc. established in 1968, is a private, nonprofit organization that provides the Miami-Dade County community with comprehensive telephone crisis counseling, suicide prevention, information and referral services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our agency also offers free individual and family counseling services and prevention programs for high-risk youth and their families based in local schools.
